The EM200 is Tibbo's new 100BaseT Ethernet-to-serial Module for onboard installation. Offering the smallest overall dimensions and lowest profile of all Tibbo Modules, the EM200 is an ideal choice for space-constrained applications. The EM200 is upward-compatible with Tibbo's original EM100 and pin-to-pin compatible with the EM120 Ethernet Module. To achieve its small dimensions, the Module doesn't have Ethernet magnetics onboard*.
* To save space, use RJ45 connector with built-in magnetics. This will also result in significantly lower EMI

lSpecialized "on-the-fly" commands for serial port control, "modem" commands to control network connections, status commands for remote status monitoring, etc.
lInternal firmware is upgradeable through the serial port or network
lSupplied with Device Server Toolkit (DST) for Windows, including Virtual Serial Port Driver (VSPD) (COM redirector)
lLINUX version of the VSPD is also available
